Robinhood has launched tokenized U.S. stocks on Arbitrum, allowing EU users to trade over 200 stocks 24/5 with dividend support. It also unveiled plans for its own Ethereum based Layer 2 focused on real-world asset tokenization. The announcement pushed HOOD stock to an all time high, gaining over 12%.

🏡 FHFA Orders Fannie & Freddie to Count Crypto in Mortgage Assets

FHFA Director William Pulte has directed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to draft proposals allowing borrowers’ verified crypto holdings, stored on U.S. regulated exchanges, to be included in mortgage risk assessments without converting to cash. The move, aligned with Trump era policies, could expand home loan eligibility for crypto holders, though regulators must account for market volatility and specify which assets qualify.

🏛️ Bessent Confirms Fed Succession Plan as Trump Presses Powell

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent outlined that the Biden administration may fill a Fed Board seat in January 2026, namely Governor Adriana Kugler’s, creating a pathway to elevate that appointee to chair when Jerome Powell’s term ends in May. This follows Trump’s public pressure on Powell to heavily cut rates towards 1%.
